DId you use a baby sling or wrap? Do you like it?
I am expecting another baby. On the way to the park this evening it got me thinking about transporting 2 kids. First thought was a double stroller that holds a car seat. Great for going to the park. But what about the store? Bella is to young to walk beside me or I would do that and put the car seat in the shopping cart. What about a sling? I had a hand me down one that just never fit right so I gave up on it.
Has any one on here used a sling? Did you like it? How long could you use it?
It depends a lot on the baby. I see a lot of newborns peacefully sleeping in their sling while mommy does errands - my daughter HATED being down in it. However, as soon as she was old enough to use the hip carry (about 5 months, when she could almost sit), it was her favorite mode of transport, because she could see what was going on and feel safe right next to me - in the cart she got bored and/or felt overwhelmed. I loved it too because it was so easy to put up, so easy to transport, and really quite comfortable for short to medium trips. We are still using it for errands and shortish walks at 9 months.
