Ergo Baby Carrier........ or another baby carrier?
I am want to get a Ergo Baby carrier but before I spend the money I was wanting to hear from moms who use this, on if it is worth it! I have a 1yr old and we are planning on having another baby.. I want a carrier that is going to be good, and comfortable we are planning on going to a few ball games this summer in Seattle so we will be doing alot of walking and some traveling..
I want to know how you like it?
is there anything else you would recommended?
LOVE IT! I got mine when DS1 was about 1 yr ... I wanted to start wearing him on my back as he was a bit heavier. I used it to carry him on my hip and back mostly. I even wore it while pregnant , I would put DS1 on my back while I was making dinner 
When DS2 cme along he practically lived in that thing. I bought the infant insert , but either I didn't use it correctly or it doesn't work very well- his head would end up resting on the side straps which didn't look very comfy ( even though he was fast asleep!) I still prefer a wrap style for tiny newborns as it keeps them super snug, close and away from strangers who like to grab their tiny hands and touch their faces! ( ew germs! I have a moby wrap and I love it... also good for keeping them close while you are doing house work , want to take a cat nap on the couch etc. I used it mostly at home since it's a real pain to tie up as the ends always drag on the ground) . Once they are a few months old though - the ergo is the best!! It's super quick to put on , easy to nurse and great to wear baby in while caring for your older child. I used to wear DS2 in it while supervising DS1 at toddler gymnastics.... he would nap or nurse while big brother walked the balance beam etc.
Short version- excellent carrier. infant insert not as good as I'd hoped it to be.... get a 2nd hand wrap for when babe is really tiny !
