Can I get some advice on the best baby carrier to use for international travel, I am going to Korea in January?

My child will be 3 1/2 months old when we are travelling, I'd like to buy something that is easy to take on and off, comfortable, good for the airport, plane and bus/train travel within the country. Something that both mom and dad can wear.

I think my choice would be a Mei Tai style carrier. With a Mei Tai (pronounced "May Tie") you can wear your baby from newborn to toddler so you will get tons of use out of it. It can also be used to carry your baby on your front or on your back, so it is very versatile. You could go with something like an Ergo (http://www.ergobabycarrier.com/), Beco (http://www.becobabycarrier.com/) or Pikkolo (http://catbirdbaby.com/shop/)- which has buckles and adjustable straps or a carrier that you tie like the Kozy (http://kozycarrier.homestead.com/). Babyhawk has choices with and without buckles (http://www.babyhawk.com/).
That is really an issue of personal preference. I prefer the "tie-able" carriers because of the limitless adjustability, plus to is nothing to "adjust" when you are trading off between mom and dad. I also like the softness of a completely fabric carrier.
Plus, what better to wear to Korea than an Asian style carrier?
