What size bag should I use for school?
I'm planning on finding a bag for school online and need a general idea of what kind of size I will need.
I probably need to fit a 4 inch binder in the bag as well as one or two paper back books and a text book weighing 4lbs and measuring 11 x 8.5 inches. My bag must be able to handle this.
I'm not looking for a logo tote and I'm not limited to totes.
Basically, I want a general suggestion of the size of bag I should use and perhaps a few examples.

Ok so I canned dill pickles 4 weeks ago and now the jars have a milky white film on the bottom. what happened?
I canned last year and I still have one jar left and I used the same recipe and tchnique with water bath. The last jar from 1 year ago is still clear. All the jars from this year but 1 jar have a milky white strand on the bottom of the jar. So obviously I will not comsume them. Any clue on what happened? Is the one clear jar ok? I am a nurse and would love to culture the jars and find out what is growing. All the jars sealed. UGHH! WTF? Some of the pickles actually had white spots on them.
When I shook the jars (I did think it was salt at first) the entire fluid in the jar turned milky so I threw them out.
sounds like something was not clean...either the pickles or the jars themselves...it almost sounds as though they didnt seal.or is it salt?

Any good place to get a cheap piece of leather? Does'nt need to be stylish or have some certain color or anything. I just need plain old simple leather for a sling for a trebuchet.
I would suggest trying at some places like Goodwill stores or Salvation Army store, Flea markets first then maybe a store like Wal-Mart, Joann,or a fabric store...The used places may just have an old suede coat or something inexpensive that you could cut up..
