how do baby kangaroos survive in thier mothers pouches?

This is a might involved but I'll try to keep it relatively simple. When it's time for Mom to have her little one, she does so the same way all other mammals do, vaginally. While she's laying there recovering, her little one (who is about the size of a peanut at this point) wiggles and squirms his way through her fur until he gets to her pouch. How he does this considering he cannot see, science isnt yet sure. I personally think he can smell the milk from her teats and he just follows his nose. Anyway once he gets inside her pouch, he noses around until he finds one of her teats and then he attaches himself to it and stays in that pouch and just grows and grows and grows until he's big and strong enough to stick his cute little head out of the pouch and say hello to the outside world. By this time he's strong enough to be able to walk around on his own so he occasionally gets out to play just like all other little ones would but always sticks close to mom so he can jump back into the pouch at the first sign of trouble. Eventually he's old enough to try solid foods but he stays with mom until he's big enough to fend for himself at which time the two part ways so mom can get ready for her next joey. I hope this helps.

My baby hates the baby carrier and sling? What can I do?

My 15 week old hates both the sling and baby borjn carrier I have. Every time she's in it she curls up, kicks, and cries. Why is it? I thought babies love being with their moms.

Bjorn is so uncomfy. have you tried a wrap? are you using a 'store-bought' sling like Munchkin Jelly Bean? These 'big box store' slings are a poor fit, and awful for baby. http://www.sleepingbaby.net/safety.php This site has great baby wearing tips, and how to 'wear baby'. Maybe you can find some good tips here.
* I have a Slinglings baby sling. Thse come in over 14 sizes, not just some small/med/large like the munchkin brand. A good fit is vital to baby safety and baby comfort.

would taking something like tai-chi help with forms/patterns training?

a quick question.

I am still deciding what martial art to take up I've done a few classes in different ones in my time.

Karate ( goju and another style possibly shotokan)
taekwondo
fencing

I am not looking at going back to fencing.

I was wondering, for arts like karate, if you suck at doing patterns because of coordination issues would doing something like tai-chi help for developing the coordination for memorising patterns?
when doing patterns in a class it is not always possible to slow the pattern down.

you have to do them at the speed of other practitioners.

i am aware tai-chi requires coordination but the question is asked about training tai-chi as a means of improving coordination.

It will, but the way of movement is different from Karate. Karate is a rigid, straightforward external martial art style--and is Japanese.

Tai Chi (Or Taiji Chuan) is a soft, circular internal martial art from China.

It is good to have a balance of internal and external styles and one WILL help the other. Many karate practicioners take tai chi on the side to help. It is recommended.

NOTE: often times, karate dojo also have tai chi classes to offer.
