[phpbay]Bjorn Carrier Sling,95,117031[/phpbay]

My baby is 17 lbs Baby Bjorn is up to 22lbs. I want a front carrier and one that is not too bulky, and I do not want a sling. I was hoping for one that would last her at least until 30lbs? I am not sure if this is possible. Thanks.
I like both the Ergo and my Baby Hawk mei tai. You can wear them on either the front of the back. When they are bigger it is really nice to wear them on your back! I also like my sling for wearing him on my hip.
The Ergo is quick and easy, and outdoorsy enough that my husband will wear it.
The mei tai is more comfortable on the front than the Ergo, but takes a bit more to get on and off because of the long straps. But they are REALLY gorgous, and you can pick from all kinds of nice fabric. You can make them reversable, etc.
Congrats on graduating carriers! They can be expensive, but it's totally worth it. You don't think twice about $100 for a stroller, but $70 for a carrier seems like a lot. It's really not, when you consider how much use you get out of it.
[phpbay]Bjorn Active Carrier,95,117031[/phpbay]

I *think* he is around 18-19 lbs and 28". I am looking for a versitle way to carry my little guy. I have the Bjorn Active & like it, but he is getting too heavy to carry on my front all the time. I am some-what petite and need something to get me through the next 6 months or so til he can walk on his own. Any suggestions?
One of the most popular carriers is the Ergo Baby Carrier. You can wear it on the front or the back. It has padded straps so it’s comfy.

Another option is an Asian Baby Carrier (commonly known is a mei tai). You can also wear this on the front or on the back. Some have padded straps, and some have wide cloth straps that fit over your shoulders to evenly distribute the weight. Here’s one option:

If you’re into the more traditional styles, you could try a wrap:

My husband is bringing me and our 9 month old baby to a convention in Las Vegas in November. Hubby with be at the conventions during the day, so that leaves me and my little girl with time on our hands. We will be there for five days.
Does anyone have suggestions for what to do in Las Vegas with a baby? I have a baby carrier and am active, so we can go just about anywhere on foot. We're bringing stuff for the pool in case the weather is warm.
Slots, lots of slots.
