Baby sling/baby carrier?

Hi everyone, Im looking into all different types of baby sling and wondered if anyone has any advice about the type to go for? I dont want to spend an absolute fortune but I'm willing to pay more for quality. I dont fancy the ring slings or over the shoulder style ones but quite like the Mai Tai's and the sleepy wrap type thing. I'll be using it for a newborn to begin with in the summer so it cant be too hot (fleece lined for example)!

Also any other advice about using slings or even someone selling one second hand I would like to hear from!? (Im in France).

I liked the pouch/sling for a newborn (up until about 2 months) and then the Baby Bjorn for up to about 6 months. After that they were just too heavy to carry like that.

Whatever it is you like, find it on Ebay. You will save a lot for something used so minimally.
