When did you stop using the infant bathtub and bath your baby/child in your bathtub?

I have a fisher price infant to toddler tub that converts to more of a seat. I really hate the thing!! He seems so tight in it and always slides down. Just curious if I should buy another one or just live with this one is he won't be in it that long. He is 8 months old.
Yes, my son is sitting up pretty good, a little wobbly, especially when tired! Lol. He was also a preemie so just a tab behind where he should be but catching up!

I hated giving my daughter baths in the bathtub once she could sit up. All that leaning over made my back hurt. Once she could sit up on her own pretty well, I started bathing her in the kitchen sink. Smaller, I didn't have to bend over so much, and the sprayer was fun for her!! Once she got too big for the sink she was totally fine to splish splash in the bathtub with no need for a safety seat of any kind. Have fun!
