I am having a baby in August and here's my stash

12 preemie prefolds

Is there anything else you would suggest for a newborn?
I purchased eveerything for cottonbabies except the inserts and pail...I used AIO and Pockets with my older son when he was 1...I want impressed
Maybe an extra few snappis just in case and a wet bag for your diaper bag when you're out an about. I haven't CDed a newborn (yet) as we started when my son was a few months old and grown into ourone size pockets but I think prefolds and covers are a great way to go for newborns. Inexpensive and very easy to wash out for those newborn nasties. What brand prefolds and flats did you get? Hopefully not Gerber as I hear nothing about those but how awful they are as diapers... Sounds like you have a good stash going though! Oh! You may want to get a washable pail liner too, but those really aren't totally necessary. We use really large Planet Wise wetbags instead of a pail. We have two of them to switch out, and we also have two small wet bags for the diaper bag
