Is it safe to 'wear' my 1 year old toddler while being pregnant?
I am four and a half months pregnant, as yet without a bump and am constantly carrying my one year old on my hip (causing back pain). Is it safe for me to 'wear' him in a baby wrap and to continue to do so as the bump grows? When would I have to stop??
They do recommend that you don't lift heavy things but I think it more depends on your own comfort levels. I still pick up toddlers as old as 4 and I have had no problems.
So long as you are comfortable and not putting too much strain on yourself then it should be fine to carry on picking up your toddler or as you put it, to "wear him".
If the wrapping still causes back ache then I would say rather dont do it.
