Natural parenting...(five weeks pregnant) what to buy?

First of all what are some things I need to buy for me NOW that I will definatly need? My doctors appointment is a week friday, but I'm so excited and curious!!
Also what are the things I need to buy for the baby?
My list so far is...
terrie toweling
nappy liners
nappy covers
cotton balls
all in ones
nursing cloths
a sling or two
breast pads
baby is due early january, so what winter stuff do I need?

I personally wouldn't suggest buying a whole lot of stuff until you are further along and know the sex of the baby.

With my first pregnancy people started buying me little baby outfits immediately and I ended up having a miscarriage at 7 1/2 weeks and looking at the little " I love Mommy" outfits tore my heart in two.

Now I'm pregnant again and I'm 16 weeks and still have only bought a couple of things. I've bought a baby blanket, a little bib, and a little pair of duck newborn slippers that I thought were cute. Some of my family have bought me a few outfits and some baby stuff but nothing big yet, and that was only after we heard the babies heartbeat via the doppler and saw it on the ultrasound at 11 1/2 weeks looking like a baby moving around.

We aren't going to buy anything big until we know the sex of our baby which will be 2 weeks from Tuesday. Once we have the detailed ultrasound done and know that the baby is looking healthy then we'll start looking into cribs, strollers, car seats and all those other baby necessities!
