Breastfeeding / Nursing in a Sling?
I own both a ring sling and a "wrap" that I made out of a piece of jersey cotton. I find it difficult to nurse my 5.5 month old daughter in either of them. Any suggestions as to which carry to use, etc.? How do you do it?
I should add that my chest is rather small, so she needs to be lined up perfectly in order for this to work, lol 
Also, I much prefer the wrap to the ring sling. I have pretty much stopped using the ring sling all together, b/c at 16 lbs., my "little" one gives me quite a back ache!
We nursed in a wrap, with my daughter in the upright position. She didn't really like being laid down in the wrap past about 2 months. I used the front cross-carry wrap. When she was small, she was lined up pretty well. As she got bigger, she would have to hunch down a bit to reach my nipple, but she managed. It helps to wear a shirt with a low, stretchy neckline that you can pull down instead of up.
