I am just curious about that. There was an incident last year that I regret ever since. Our black lab got a hold of a very tiny baby bunny, and it was bleeding a lot and looked like it had a broken leg. I didn't want it to suffer and took it to my vet right away. He was holding puppy class when I walked in with it in the carrier, and I regret that I didn't speak up and say that I would love him try and fix his injuries, that I would pay for it and keep the bunny.... I just said I have an injured wild bunny and he said to put it in a corner, and they would take care of it - they put it to sleep. At least it was out of its' misery, but it was such a tiny baby and I am pretty sure it could have been tamed. If anything like that were to happen again, are there any reasons why somebody shouldn't keep a wild baby animal?
