My 16 month old son LOVES baths. He never wants to get out.
I let him play and soak for about 15 minutes, then I rinse him and take him out.
He NEVER wants to get out.
I bend down and pick him up and he kicks, squirms and arches his back.
He's 31 lbs. and WET.
He's so slippery it's hard to get him out of the tub (since he's squirming and arching his back.)

I normally pick him up with one arm and have the towel in my other arm (to immediately wrap him) but now that he's getting so heavy I can barely balance his wet squirming body in one arm.

I have tried standing him up on the tile and then wrapping him with the towel, but then there is a puddle of water all over the floor and he refuses to stand.

The method I have been using isn't going to work much longer, because I won't be able to balance him in one arm.

Anyone else having this problem getting their baby out of the tub?
Any tricks you use to make the process a little safer?
