i have a bjorn right now, but i think the pressure it puts on brodys lil boy parts hurts him after having it in there for a while, AND he is already 17 pounds and is only 3 months so i dont know how much longer i will even be able to fit him in the bjorn.
I used a Mei Tai for my son. I bought it off Itsy.com. I think it really depends on what you are looking for. People will say different things when it comes to different types of baby wearing. They are really the same. I have also heard excellent things about the Moby Wrap. Also the Mei's off Itsy.com are much cheaper. Also thumbs up to you for wanting to baby wear!!!
I like the Mei because that area is open. We had the Infantino Front2Back carrier and it caused such problems on my back and I had to stop using it. I was told by a few people that Mei's were great and to order it front Itsy because every where else would charge you an arm and a leg.
ETA: I paid about 40 for mine off Itsy.
