Does my baby bearded dragon have MBD? Please Help!!?

My baby beardie's tail has turned black. It's not all black, but about 1/4 of it is. It's also limp. I'm not quite sure what to do. The rest of his body seems to be fine. It's been a week and I believe its too late. I've asked my parents if we can take him to the vet, but they think it will turn back to its original color. I think it was caused from lack of calcium. I had to bring him on a trip with me and forgot to bring his calcium supplement. He went without it for 3 days.

Sounds more like the end of the tail has been bitten by a sibling or a cage mate either before you bought him or if you have more then one in the enclosure sometimes they will mistake each others tails and legs for food once they get into feeding mode when crickets are put in the tank at feeding time or a shed that constricted the tail and is now dead tissue and will probably end up falling off....I can't see it to be sure but take it to the vet just to get checked and to make sure It's not some kind of infection
